"Absolutely amazing! I wanted a perfect little spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, I just happen to pass by and couldn’t resist. I am so happy I did. The service was amazing. The team works together great and the food hands-down was just like home. It’s a small quaint place but I promise you you won’t find anywhere cozier, yummier or more friendly. This is my new go to spot."

"WORST MEAL OF MY LIFE.As soon as we walked in, the host and entire staff looked unhappy, unfriendly, and had bad attitudes. Host was a rude man who was very dismissive of customers and their seating requests. No smiles. No customer service whatsoever. Once we were seated at the booth, we waited about half an hour before a server came to take our order. Servers were all over the place catering to different tables. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered whole wheat pancakes. We waited for another half hour... we asked our server(s) to check on our meal. They seemed confused. It was obvious they forgot to put the orders in... once our food arrived, the REAL disappointment kicks in. HOW DO YOU MESS UP CHICKEN TENDERS?! My chicken looked fake and rubbery. The presentation was AWFUL. Just downright ugly... my high school cafeteria made better meals than this. I didn't eat the chicken, just the waffle because I was starving. My boyfriend's pancakes were so thin. Seriously... Terrible. I wouldn't feed any of the food here to stray animals. Never again."

"I don't have anything bad to say about their food but there's only one person serving all of their customers (a blond girl). There were 2 additional people there but none of them wanted to help her. I really feel sorry for her. So if you want to spend 20 minutes to stay in line to get a piece of fish, go there. Otherwise, avoid. I know I won't go there anymore. This place lacks some customer service for real."

"Literally was amazing. My mom said it was the best breakfast she ever had. The staff is so friendly and gives really feel the small village of Diner. The food and the vibes are amazing. Absolutely come back. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious."

"The food was delicious as I expected it to be. This particular Original House Of Pancake 's branch has a system that I 've never seen at the other O.H.O.P. branches and it works. They have these cards they put on their tables, you flip it over to green and it let 's the wait staff know you want to see them. If you don 't need them keep it flipped on the otherside brilliant. It cuts down on trying to get their attention, all the branches should have this system especially the branch in Hyde Park in Chicago. Getting the waitresses attention is very very hard there. I also liked the teamwork the waitstaff was doing for each other. They really do help each other out at that branch, on top of the food being delicious too."

"Loved the food and the place itself. Menu is diverse and can please you no matter whether you want something sweet or an extravagant dinner. We went for lunch/breakfast and had a special salmon stack, which was delicious and filling, appetizer shrimp forgot when was the last time shrimp could impress me and two crapes Nutella and berry . Everything was very good. Also very friendly staff, however could be more attentive and probably should note in what order the food should be brought out. Definitely will be back!"
