"We just popped up in Kaspa’s Rugby after a long walk, we were absolutely starving at the time, a very nice lady seated us in less than a minute,then we ordered at the till and the food came in about five minutes, hot and delicious with a lovely smile from the lady who even offered us an complimentary dessert as was my little one birthday. Can’t fault the staff or the food, everything was absolutely delicious and we’ll definitely come back."

"Have now twice pulled off the M6 and eaten at New Regent when travelling long journey. What a lovely restaurant. It is spotlessly clean (not the latest decor but spotless). The staff are all so friendly. Has a super family run feel. The ‘All you...can eat’ menu is great, the portions they bring are small, just the right size and if you want more you order more and it arrives pronto. Thank you Team New Regent we much prefer to stop off with you than the huge motorway services."

"The best part of the night was the jokes about how bad the food was in all honesty! Satay chicken was chewy and all the main meals were tasteless, photos of two separate meals which tasted identical (of nothing) I mentioned to a waitress i wasnt happy with my main… her reply was “okay” took my plate and walked off. When it came to paying i went over to the counter and quietly said to the owner i would like to pay please however i have not eaten my main, i did not enjoy it, it wasn’t very nice” he absolutely hit the roof, awful temper on him. He said “you cant do that its not fair”, “you should have chosen something you like” (pad thai noodles with chicken i chose, something i would 100% have liked if i could taste anything) “you are rude horrible lady” he literally announced in front of all his customers that i refused to pay! He got everyones attention and shouted “this lady not pay for food, everyone else pay for food but not her because she didnt like it” IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT!” Then Continued to shout at me and was extremely angry. Thankfully i managed to hold my own, (when he allowed me to speak, just kept shouting over me) but not everyone would be been able to stand up for themselves, and not everyone would have been able to stay calm and talk calmly still. I suspect if i was a man he wouldnt have tried to argue it. But i’m just a women so he thought he could get away with it? That is how it felt! So what was me trying to discretely discuss my issues turned into the whole place knowing about it. I am 4 months pregnant and honestly it really upset me after it happened. i had to walk out of the restaurant to calm myself down. Making a pregnant women cry… well done! Top marks to the “manager” i Was so upset that he spoke to me like that! I still paid for the rest of mine and my partner’s meals. Which honestly nearly didnt after he spoke to me like that. Never in my life have i experienced an owner/manager of a restaurant arguing with me when i was not happy with the food! I hate complaining at the best of times, no one enjoys it surely. But i refuse to pay for food when i didnt eat it! Unfortunately i am not that rich that i can afford something that i didnt have. Honestly would never step foot in that place again. I dont think anyone who was there to witness it would either. The customers all quite quickly paid up and left after that! I agree with the other bad reviews… who on earth rated them 4 or 5 stars?! "

"We have visited twice now for breakfast the Avo on Sourdough with mushrooms is great, as are the vegan (and GF) pancakes, which come in two varieties. Good services and cool, relaxed vibe."
