"This Saturday afternoon before an ATV tour stopped and the food was great! I ate chicken benches and they were exactly what I had in my head. All right! My husband got a salad and it looked fantastic what he said it was incredible. Great service, great atmosphere. Very recommended!"

"It's early in the season and many of the Restaurants in Talkeetna aren't quite in full operation yet. The best place for breakfast in Talkeetna is the Roadhouse. Unfortunately, it is still not open to the public due to Covid, and my second favorite place, the Flying Squirrel, isn't open on Tuesdays, so we had to wing it and try this place. On this Tuesday morning in May, their breakfast choices included cinnamon bun, coffee and sausage gravy over biscuit. We both got sausage gravy over biscuit and coffee. Eating breakfast in a bar was ... odd, but its very Alaskan, as is the limited selection in such a small town. The food was acceptable. Anyone who has lived here long enough understands that in small towns, this is this how it is for financial reasons. We were nourished, nothing more."

"Great place for breakfast in Talkeetna! The whole food was fresh and pretty good. I would definitely recommend the Candy Cake, which were soft, delicate mini pancakes with fresh strawberries. However, I would like to point out that the service was quite slow."
