"Excellent meal service was a bit slow but this is one of the best restaurants in VA Beach. Shrimp scampi was tasty, special fried Flounder one of the best, and fried shrimp here is fabulous. The Ahi tuna is always outstanding. All four of us thought it excellent."

"Been coming here for over 20 years. Ok, as far as an old town favorite goes... it is a great place for breakfast and pie. I have also grown quite fond of the grilled chicken avocado sandwich with grilled peppers and onions. They could use a makeover to upgrade for the downtown Pembroke renovations but overall it is a family cafe and lots of business any time of the day or night. My favorite pie is the 4 layer one with Chocolate mousse, cheesecake, coconut pecan, whip cream on a very flaky crust. For some reason I love their crust. "This place is great! Went for brunch. I had chicken and waffles.....it was so good! Would definitely return. Atmosphere and service was better than I expected for a busy spot like this. I did have to wait about 20 minutes for a table tho. But overall I enjoyed my visit here."

"Inhaled the food before I could snap pictures. The atmosphere is bright and airy. The food menu is extensive, and everything that came out of the kitchen past our seats at the bar looked delicious. Ticket times were around 15 minites. And they offer chicken and turkey products for those that dont prefer red meat. Mom had chicken and waffles, I had French toast, added my own toppings and turkey sausage. The bartenders are top-notch. They are friendly, efficient, and they build beautiful drinks with a kick seemingly with their eyes closed. This will be my brunch choice anytime I'm in the area. Love this spot."
