"Have eaten at this cafe twice since it opened about two weeks ago. The coffee is excellent, and their Banoffee crepes to die for (as are their cakes!) Service was a little slow and disorganised at lunchtime when they were full of patrons, but hopefully this disorganisation with the staff will be ironed out with some further customer service training. Very friendly staff overall. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a tasty lunch."

"Had a wonderful meal there of Eggs Benedict. I asked if the ham could be replaced with Avocado and that was no problem at all. Sitting near the cozy fire, it was sincerely one of the best meals (and coffee) I have had in a very long time....and just what I needed before my long flight home to Perth. Thank you for a lovely experience"

"I live in Potts Point, location of some of the best restaurants in Sydney; The Oakroom would hold it’s own in any large capital CBD environment. Imaginative menu, excellent senior chef and a young knowledgeable and very attentive staff. I was more than pleasantly surprised...by the food and beverage standards."

"We ate on a Thursday night and the hotel bistro was very busy. The servings were substantial, I had a Mexican Parma which was good value and my wife had the roast of the day [small serve] again which was substantial. Beer and wine off...the tap also was good and id suggest going on a Friday or Saturday night would be risky as even on Thursday there were very few tables left."
