"One to avoid. I have been to a lot of restaurants and must say this is the worst place I have been to. Hubby asked for his steak medium but when it came it was cremated. I had the meatballs well 3 of the meatballs were not cooked there was so much cheese and sauce it was hard to eat never even finished our drinks as we just wanted to get out of the place. 3 other people complained we noticed nothing was taken off their bill we just paid and left. The chips that came with the steak were undercooked and the onion ring was horrendous. Would not even use the toilets as I would have probably been even more derogatory. If visiting the shops my advice stick to a coffee shop and avoid this place"

"As a Castleford local, I have often passed this cafe but it's either been after it closed or when I've not had time to stop. Today, however, I decided to call in and am glad I did. The staff are very pleasant, my bacon.and mushroom sandwich was cooked to perfection and as a former coffee house manager the quality of the latte gets a big thumbs up from me! Every town has a hidden gem and this is definitely Castleford's! Thank you ladies, I'll definitely be back!"

"Went for food, didn’t get sat down for 10 mins then didn’t get asked for a drink for 20 mins. Walked out, don’t know how you can run a place that doesn’t even ask you for a drink when you sit down. Absolutely useless"

"Please- please do NOT go to this Chinese restaurant. We had lunch there today and quite honestly it was the very WORST Chinese meal /buffet we have ever had . Food was dry and totally tasteless and the small amount we did manage to put...on our plates, first had to be scraped off the serving dishes . How can any “restaurants” sorry but I use that word very loosely feel good serving rubbish up to paying customers as this place does. You can believe the few odd good reports about the New Eastern Court if you wish to but don’t take my word for this review. Go and try it , then tell me I got it all wrong. As an adult family over the years we always tried to check out any local Chinese restaurants, this today was a first for us and DEFINITELY THE WORST EVER. In fact while I am writing this I can still taste the horrible grease from over 3 hours ago .in a word the food was DISGUSTING and I made that clear at reception as we were leaving the premises. I never usually complain but on this occasion I definitely had to."

"Comes here when I'm at work (Iceland Food Warehouse on Snowhill Retail Park) on my break. I get whopper breakfast but spam n hash brown extra and have to say it amazing breakfast, staffs are brilliant, make you like make yourself at home kinda relaxing with TV on. Got great food on display as well from Breakfast/Jacket Tatis, Toasties, Panini's, sandwiches. Little jack of outwood they should call it"

"Arrived on time for a family meal, four of us, were shown to a table upstairs although there were tables empty downstairs, ordered wine and beer, wrong wine and beer brought, random system of the staff regarding taking orders from tables, 1 hour and 45 minutes from arriving to getting a starter, now on second bottle of wrong wine, main course arrived 30 mins later, sent back as cold food, but we had no plates anyway, even the rice was only tepid, plates arrived and they were hotter than the food, the carpet in the bar area downstairs has that sticky beer sensation the last time I experienced that was in Heppys night club) the gent’s toilets upstairs are not particularly hygienic, the paintwork on the doors you would expect to see in a mechanics’s workshop, face mask is not required but gloves would be an asset. This is not a moan it is an actual experience, if i was trying to squeeze ever penny from a business then it’s a great model, but as a restaurant in the hospitality business, it doesn’t deserve peoples money, in the current financial circumstances people are experiencing, it’s a waste of money."

"Been past this place a few times not knowing what I was missing! I wasn't familiar with Polish food, but I'm sure wanting more from this place! Good for the alcoholic refreshments as well. (wish I didn't have work). Really good pricing all round. Really friendly staff as well, helping me pronounce things in Polish, which was interesting. Then topped off with the desert which was a work of delicious art!"
