"One of my other favourite university haunts was Umi and Umiya Sushi located in the Atrium on Elliot foodcourt. A lot has changed in this mall over the years but nice knowing this store is identical to how I remember it. Lots of sushi choice, lots of non-sushi choices, well priced, though the food does rank average at an individual level. For a sushi newbie it’s a fantastic choice with lots of options to please any shade of appetite and you can easily end up paying in the single digits too, which is a boon. The teriyaki glazed and fried things are my recommended picks, and the staple $1 standard sushi rolls are not to be discounted either."

"Our last day in New Zealand after 3 weeks here. Dirty Laundry Breakfast was the best meal we have had. Not only presentation was exquisite but the taste did not disappoint. We had the Blueberry Pancakes and the Eggs Bene with coffee and a mango smoothie. The coffee was the best coffee my husband has had, the mango smoothie was good but small for the $8.50 price I thought. Eggs Bene were really good too. But those blueberry pancakes....omg....it was AMAZING TO DIE FOR! Huge shout out to the establishment...definitely will remember this place when we come back....might have to come back from Canada just for the Dirty Laundry pancakes."

"We ordered a half and half, of fried chicken and seasoned chicken plus chips which came to $42. friendly reminder that you have to order at the counter, we came in under the impression we order at our table. the chicken was very tasty! it could have been more seasoned. and the chips had little to no salt on them also. <br/ <br/ but it was an enjoyable meal and we’d go back again.<br/ taste: 3.5<br/ presentation: 4<br/ cleanliness: 5<br/ service: 3"

"This place looks like it's the victim of some fake bad reviews (a bunch of 1 star reviews with no comments from people who have never reviewed anything else) so ignore the rating. The coffee here was great and there's plenty of seating. Check out the courtyard if you want something a little more cosy. I've yet to try the food but thought this deserved a 5 star to help counteract the fake 1 stars."

"Dear future attendees of this establishment, Come to cassette if you fancy a classy beverage in the form of teapot shots, the most sincere hospitality from staff, and good times on a stage. Make sure to appreciate the fine decor of denim walls and feline creatures on the ceiling of the womens bathroom. DO NOT attempt to enter establishment through roof balcony. For a refreshing tobacco outdoor experience DO check out the roof balcony. Includes a dashing view of the one and only vulcan lane. Always be friendly to the bouncers and bartenders who work hard to keep this establishment bumpin. Cheers, A consumer of too many teapots"

"One of my tutors recommended this place for dinner and we came here for a catch up. The place is very cosy and staff are professional. We ordered two mains and two sides and shared amongst 3 of us. Was more than enough. Slightly on the pricey side..but the food and ambience and service make up for it. Will def come back. And their potato dish is soooo good"
