"Had a great brunch here. The food was great, especially the ham and eggs croissant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is what made it particularly memorable. They have some a great job of recreating the high country lodge look impressive attention to detail. Would be a great place for a large group as it's very spacious and has decent seating for groups."

"It's a small café tucked away down a lane near the Tinakori/Glenmore/Bowen intersection, but clearly known to locals as it was full at 11:45am on a Saturday. The Goods Café and Manufactory has a small but delicious selection of pastries we had a lemon preserve thingy, a cherry clafoutis, a small vege quiche and seriously good coffee. I am VERY particular about coffee and get tired of receiving flat whites that are too weak and milky. Not so here; beautiful crema, rich and strong I'll defo be back for that alone."

"Popped in for lunch while passing time before a flight out of Wellington and had one of the best fried chicken burgers I think I've ever had. The Hudson has a nice vibe, there were people sampling whiskey, craft beer on tap (excellent selection) and as mentioned the food was bang on! Highly recommended!"

"Pastry/Sweet is a top notch per usual. Almond croissant is my favorite. A tiny 'off moment ' with coffee. Cup wasn 't filled up fully, maybe it was due to rush at that moment with orders."
