"Tried to order a cake and out of a choice of over 15 there was only one available, tried to book a cake other than the single cake on offer 4 days ahead and it could not be done. On website it states it could be done with one days notice. This business is a bit hit and miss , previous service in cafe poor but this time able to get a coffee with family without too much difficulty."

"Great service with a smile eventhough it was a busy place. I had the corn polenta with a generous slice of melted brie and grilled veggies like mushroom, red pepper and pickled artichoke on it. Their selections are amazing. The desserts are spoilt for choice. The vanilla slice doesn't have a huge amount of custard on it but covered with a thick liquid icing sugar topping. I wish for more custard though and it was a little too sweet for my taste. Coffee could be better with a stronger and a more robustic aroma. Overall, I give it a 3.5/5 and I'll be back to try the rest of their creation!!"

"This time we visit our good friends living in tassie, launceston. on the first day we drove almost 2 hours from launceston to hobart. the clear and scenery in tasmania were simply amazing, we call it “Little new Zealand”. Anyway, we went to one of our favorite breakfast places in new town, jackman mcross bakery. they can also enjoy this caffe in cbd, but it would be very busy! the mood and atmosphere were cozy and comfortable; we ordered “Scallop, wakame and leek” cake for $8.00 although it is expensive, they served a great torte and generous filling of skalopps. the cake was crispy and crispy from the outside; it was also perfectly baked. the scallops were...read more"
