"I went there for breakfast at 630. There was one person ahead of me. There were three people working, and it took fifteen minutes for me to get my breakfast baconator combo. There was no potato wedges (I can't remember exactly what the side was supposed to be because I had never gotten Wendy's breakfast before) and the coffee was terrible. I dumped the coffee out when I got home and there was an inch of sludge at thr bottom of the cup. Terrible experience."

"Absolutely amazing, surprisingly-affordable breakfast and baked goods! The Benny was delicious and the lox and eggs was incredible. And the Nanaimo bars were the best I've ever had in Nanaimo. Definitely recommend!"

"Cute shop, with a variety of options of sweet and savoury pastry. It was also my first time trying Nanaimo bar and I’m so glad I got it from here! It was delicious. I also LOVED the cheese scone. So buttery and flavourful."

"We visited it on Saturday afternoon for lunch with the family. There were remnants that were buried next to our table on the ground, which were never picked up for the hour we were there, even if the café was almost empty. The drinks came in 5 minutes and the food lasted more than half an hour. The sandwiches hardly had a filling and the side was two bites of Coleslaw with egg cover, although we had informed the staff of egg allergies. When we asked the server whether the dressing has eggs, she simply brought empty plates and handed over the sandwiches to these plates and took the sides back without bringing a replacement or saying something. The sandwiches hardly had a filling and they cost over 16 dollars each. So we were still hungry and ordered more food because we didn't want to go to another place with small children for a second lunch. Did you notice that the price menu is not on its website by design? 16-17 for 2 slices of bread sticking with a piece of cheese is a joke. And the bread was also brought for beautiful expensive restaurants, await a few gourmet bread. I see the appeal of the hippie decoration as you come, but we have essentially near 100 for a lunch of 2 adult and 1 child paid, while we sit on the table with messy floor additionally."

"Unfortunately the cappuccino has gone off , we used to love our coffee here when visiting .We have been a few times in the last week and coffee has been dreadful .We shared soup and BLT which was excellent .There bacon and cheese croissant are wicked but you need to be there early as they sell out fast .No table service before 11 am which is fine .The staff are exceptional."

"We had just gotten a loaf of focaccia bread from Cobb’s last night and it was so good, we had a craving for more, but didn’t want to go far, so he got one from Bodhi’s.It was so disappointing. Not only it doesn’t look like it, it doesn’t taste at all like focaccia. The texture is pretty heavy, not even close to what a focaccia bread looks like. Just Google an image and you can see. This was very ‘blah’, salty bread I think I will stick to Cobb’s, or even Superstore"

"What a nice discovery on the way from the ferry to Tofino. We got really hungry on our way and since it’s morning everything is close but Nanaimo Bakery. We got delicious carrot cream and some pastries. Very cute, granny place. I love it! Super nice service too. This place is very clean and well organized. Washrooms are perfectly clean."

"I asked this bigger girl with weird hair for potato wedges with my food and she had a anxiety attack and told me she couldn’t because there were a few minutes before 11 she then played victim and refused to serve me my coffee because she apparently only makes food"
