"Timer. Had succulent clams to start followed by seared sea scallops on top of a baked polenta. Also had the tomato salad. it was probably one of the top meals I've ever had. If I lived here I would go every week--it's that good. Service was spot on with tempo and kindness. It's a place you take your best friends to."

"So good. I love coffee and I feel deeply about politics, so what could be better in my beloved progressive bubble than Blue State Coffee? Not only is the idea good, but the staff is friendly, the coffee delicious, the food is fresh and local, and the wifi strong. They have made generous donations to local causes I care about, and they have interesting events now and again. Damn, that 's a lotta mocha in your 'ccino, don 't ya think?"

"Premium prices for bargain-bin pastries and bagels. There is nothing ?L-artsy? about the food, it?s dry and tasteless, literally no better than shaws-brand, but that doesn?t stop them from charging high prices as if it?s home made. I simply cannot believe the difference between what I paid versus what I got. Go to Seven Stars if you want an expensive cafe experience, or even go to Starbucks, at least those places will give you a pastry worthy of their price tag."

"We pretty much planned a night away to try Plant City, and it did not disappoint! We had dinner outside at the burger place and it was delicious. We got the Buffalo cauliflower, and then split the fried “chicken” sandwich, and the “steak” and cheese. All was delicious. Sadly, after all that food we couldn’t order dessert. We returned the next morning for breakfast, and that was the star of the show. Coffee was on point, as was the breakfast burrito and breakfast croissant sandwich. We ordered inside and once again found a table outside to enjoy our food. This time we did manage to take a couple bakery items to go- a chocolate croissant and a “honey” almond donut. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We also really liked the location. A perfect spot to eat and then take an evening stroll along the river."
