"We chose both the same dishes salmon followed by apple crumbs. the salmon was scorched with sesame seeds and perfectly boiled, it was served with baked carrots covered in a green sauce with, among other things, coriander. the sauce looked a little strange. but tasted good. the apfelkrone was very nice with sharp apples and a beautiful nut that contained crispy plunged. an espresso finished my meal. service was friendly and fast. nice clean toilets. 37€ for two."

"Great place for a morning coffee and croissant, or a 'vin chaud ' (mulled wine) in the evening before retiring to our nearby hotel. Terrace seating always busy and buzzing; this is apparently a popular place for Rennes ' younger generation and travellers heading to, and from, the adjacent station. Speedy and efficient service. Stop off here for a drink and watch the world go by."

"Here is a place where it is good to warm up in a rainy weather but not that. a small gourmet offers a varied choice: from simple bread to the pastries, hot or cold sandwiches, hot or cold drinks, to take away or to consume on the floor, with a nice view angle overlooking the Place Saint-Michel, while reading one of the magazines graciously available to the customers. In addition to its appreciable geographical location, the little gourmet has other appreciable virtues: quality products, a warm welcome, very affordable prices. I chose the chopped steak ciabatta. I chose my cheese (mozzarella) and my sauce (poivre). it was huge and really good, for only 4 €. Next time, I'll test the bagels and a muffin. I'm bleeding in advance."
