"Located on Birdwood Lane, this small cafe had mostly al fresco seating which was all occupied on this sunny afternoon. I chose to sit indoors at the bench seating near the window. Wasn’t sure if you’re meant to order at the register or if they take your order so I chose to pay and order at the register. The service was nice.<br/ <br/ I was going to order the Pannacotta however I was advised it was no longer available from the menu. I went with a Banana Bread as my afternoon snack with a Mocha. They used Double Roasters which is one of my favourites. The banana bread was thickly sliced and lightly toasted with some butter. The coffee was a smooth blend however I should have mixed it a bit more as they used chocolate buds and it was stuck all the bottom of the cup!"

"We've been faithful Baroque fans for years. Not only because we love La Renaissance, but because of the chic dining experiences. Okay, we're biased. We will never say no to either places and are absolutely in love with their desserts. Recently we watched pastry chef Jean Michel Raynaud perform the magic on stage at the SmoothFM's Festival of Chocolate, and we are smitten! Never mind the creativity, the quality of Baroque's sweet morsels are so top-notch that we are calling it: the BEST patisseries in Sydney are at The Rocks!"

"Cosy little patisserie with lovely looking cakes. (didn't have any this time Croque Monsieur was tasty and not overwhelmingly cheesey Onion soup was also done well and piping hot too Good coffee here as well"

"Really good selection of bakery treats with interesting twists like tarts infused with mandarin or lavender. The salted caramel chocolate tart is my favorite and the coffee is worth coming for too."
