"A delightful small restaurant experience. Only about 20 tables inside, doubling with the outdoor capacity under their tent. Each item is interestingly elevated. Rock shrimp has a smoked paprika flavor. Sweet potato roll has mango and other refreshing elements. Crab wonton was actual crab. Service was good, and a chef even came by to see if we were liking the food and talked to us about where some of our choices came from and how fresh it had been.The fish was delicious. Straight tuna and the amber jack were my favorites. A few pieces had the skin layer still which is just something I am personally unable to do so I ate around it.BYOB. A tight squeeze so may be a bit challenging for accessibility needs.Vibe: date night, catching up with a friend, elevated take out or delivery. Not fancy, just a level up.The only weird thing is that they serve bottled water for free. And while they charge for soft drinks and give free refills, all of those drinks are canned. I imagine their trash/recycling is pretty large. Can’t imagine getting a fountain system would not be cheaper in the long run. Going to an elevated sushi restaurant and getting a Kirkland bottle of water when you sit down is a bit strange. But the food and service are far too good to care about this."

"My friend and I tried about 4 items and everything was a hit! The curry is on point!! So much flavor without burning your mouth. Good quality, amazing taste. My friend said their curry was just the same as he would get in Japan! Their hot soba was delicious, gyoza, Yakiyori bowl. Everything delicious and flavorful. Prices are really good for the quality and quantity, especially compared to other places"

"I love it at this place for a drink at the bar during the Happy Hour (weekdays from 5 a.m.) or over the weekend to see a game on the big projector screen above the bar. Only problem is that they do not play the audio of the game on the speakers; only video. Either the food is super delicious sushi and excellent hot appetizers and they have a decent beer selection on tap. I had some Brooklyn Brewery IPAs, but they also had Brooklyn Warehouse, their standard Japanese beers like Asahi and Sapporo and a few others. There are restaurant seats on the back and on an intermediate floor in the rear as well. Overall, I like Sapps both as a bar to take a quick drink or two or to sit for a delicious Japanese dinner and would definitely recommend to give this place a try."

"Ordered takeout tonight looking forward to some good food. Iv'e only heard good things about Wild Ginger. What a disappointment. The sushi is ok but I find that all sushi is just ok these days unless you go to Kotobuki. $15 for a 4 pc roll is too expenive. $12 for seaweed salad cause they put lettuce underneath seaweed is a waste cause you want seaweed not lettuce! The Dim Sum sampler looked like a plate of deflated balloons with dipping sauce. The Gen Tso chicken was soggy. When I walked in the place had 2 guests at 7pm and No other orders coming out for pick up but mine. Will not be returning."
