"After a day at Dinosaur Provincial Park, we were very hungry. So hungry we didn't want to wait until we got back to Calgary. That said, we also didn't want to eat just anywhere. And that's where Armando's comes in. The special's on offer were outstanding (cabbage rolls and chicken Sambuca). Our Caesar salad was perfect (no stinting on the garlic or the Parmesan). In summer, Armando has his own vegetable garden nearby -- testimony to his commitment to "absolutely fresh."So, if you find yourself in east Alberta -- say on your way to Medicine Hat or returning to Calgary after a day of dinosaur hunting -- be sure to stop at Armando's in Bassano. You will be delighted!"
