"This restaurant offers in the grunde only a main dish: momos, an art Tibetan dumplings. of the four species you are vegan and very tasty. I also liked the tomatensalat as a side, but found the gurkensalat a little blande. Overall, not for every day, but a beautiful change."

"17.06.2022 my first contact with steinahlle was in the april 2022 the fantastic brunch on snowy Sunday. after that I have praised to return and I am so glad that I did it. in the one stone musuem is a 1 michelin star restaurant with beautiful shaded...decor, beautiful graffiti furniture and friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. in contrast to my first visit sat my party of 4 on the terrace, which was perfect on the cool summer evening. just like the brunch was my dinner in stone hall with all dressed from beginning to end wonderfully created to kill all tastes. I could not really remember the names of the dishes that we had in our six curs casual menu apart from the refreshing kalamasi balls, tasty ceviche, mouthwater ramen and red wine from greybünden recommended by sommelier as we wanted to taste Swiss wine. this restaurant is really worth a visit if you are in bern and I definitely return."

"Arrived at Bern and wandered round the large shopping centre to find this restaurant - a sort of super noodle bar at not too unreasonable Swiss prices. Food freshly prepared and was very filling - puts many other noodle bars to shame. Would return."

"Welle7 has mostly food court style restaurants, but The Fitting Room is one of the few places where you can sit down and have a business lunch or enjoy a more relaxed dinner. The menu is pretty eclectic, although the menu card is small. I selection of tapas and a few principal plates. The wine list here really stood out. I had a really, really nice red wine here recommended by the waiter. It went perfect with my dinner, and I had to have another for dessert."

"We booked High Tea (something the hotel offers only in winter for some reason) for 5, for a birthday celebration, and overall it was a pleasant experience. But for this experienced group of travelers with a combined total of perhaps two centuries of high tea experiences around the world there were some issues.Firstly: the Lounge area itself is a bit squashed around corners and walls just to the left of the main lobby. It is nicely decorated but at almost every table you have a sense that you are sitting in a corridor. In addition, there is a mix of seating areas with (only) two low coffee tables, with sofas around them, and then a scattering of normal coffee shop high tables and chairs, so you need to specify which you want when you book.Secondly: in trying to be generous with the tea ("so you can refill the teapot many times") they put enough tea leaves in your small pot to make 4 litres of tea. So it comes out as strong as black coffee and obviously very bitter. (An understandable mistake for a country of coffee drinkers, but in a hotel of this standard you expect a better understanding of what makes a decent cup of tea.)Thirdly: the food itself was a bit mixed. The sandwiches (including cucumber and scrambled egg sandwiches) were excellent. As were some of the little cakes. But the scones were really just small, heavy bread buns, and the clotted cream was too light. And really scones with clotted cream are half the reason for high tea in the first place.On the plus side: the service was attentive, polite, and smiling. The quality of everything (even the mistakes) was high. And the location (across from the Bern central train station) is convenient.Hopefully the hotel will learn from this review (ask customers what type of table they want, learn how much tea goes into a pot for the different types of tea served, send someone to London for lessons on how to make scones) and things will improve. Because there is no shortage of well trained staff and effort being expended so these are (mostly) issues that can be addressed."

"I had come for a day trip to Bern, for few hours and just after getting out of the Railway Station, my 5 years old starting crying for food (lunch), I searched on the net and this was the closest Indian restaurant I could find....We walked almost 15 mins to reach the place and it was just off the lunch hours when we reached the restaurant. But the staff was very courteous and they accommodated us and did not close their doors on us, which was a great gesture. They served us A La Carte and all the dishes were well prepared and nicely cooked. After which the owner herself informed us about the places to visit and how to reach there. On the whole a very pleasant experience, will definitely visit them again."
