"On the last excursion to Dunedin, we made a stop at the Dunedin House of Beer for a drink while waiting for our table across the way at Lucky Lobster. It's a decent spot that's conveniently located on Broadway in walking distance from other breweries such as Cueni and Dunedin Brewery, as well as the other pubs located further down the street. For a no frills sports bar, HOB does the job. They offer plenty of table and high top seating in addition to the bar, with a room for shooting pool, playing Connects Four, and other games depending on your preference. On any given day, they have 40 different craft beers on tap from various breweries around the countries, as well as those they make across the street at their production facility. During our time there, I ordered a toasty stout that HOB makes across the street from their back entrance. The time we spent there was a good way while we waited for our table to be ready which was a good 45 minutes. The pub is a good spot to people watch, enjoy some beers and the company you keep. If I bring my friends to HOB from South Florida, we would be hanging there for a while between the games and the beers for sure."

"Since we “discovered” The Honu three years ago, we’ve made the tiki bar kind of a home away from home. The drinks are authentic tiki and extremely well made under the direction of bartender extraordinaire, Lisa. The food is excellent and reflects Chef Kim’s time on the Big Island. The entire staff is friendly and provides great service. We can’t recommend The Honu more highly."

"I walked into this place and got to sit at the bar as a first come-first sit basis. Immediately the bartender (Nikki) noticed me and took my drink order. Very attentive. Asked for a menu and it came with a specials for the night too. I ordered the salmon and asked what the best preparation was as they have more than a few. I settled with the recommendation of Nikki which was the pepino Y pepita style. It was great. The salmon was super hot which I definitely appreciated. The risotto patty was interesting. The sauces and cucumber guac were very good and complimenting. Overall, had a great first experience here. Its an easy laid back environment which was nice for a Friday evening. I'd come back and try other item off their menu. The tacos with mushrooms look intriguing. Keep up the great work!"

"To begin with I’m not a sushi fan however my wife and neighbors wanted sushi so we went to Pieces. Dillon, our waiter, was so helpful and recommended several dishes to try. I had the Bubba Shrimp while others had Firecracker, Pink Panther, and Tampa! Everything was great including Spring Rolls and Lobster Rangoon but the Firecracker was a lot hotter than expected! Beer was cold! Great evening and we will return soon!! Thanks Dillon!!"
