"Casa Maca has a fantastic selection of vegan appetizers, entrées, drinks and desserts. We ordered the red fruit smoothie, which was thick and hearty enough to be a breakfast. We also ordered the nachos, pineapple carpaccio, and cauliflower tacos. Everything was delicious with distinct flavors and textures. The only drawback was that the food took a long time to come out."

"Close to the town square, this was a great chance discovery. Tired and hungry after a long day which began very early at Chichen Itza, we found the welcome that we were looking for. The young lady who greeted us and the young man who served us were both charming. The menu had lots of choice and was written in both Spanish and English. We chose Poc Chuc, a traditional Yucatan dish, and it was delicious. We had expected some munchies while we waited for our food, but what our waiter brought was a surprise, and may not be 'the norm' - slices of mango, cucumber, orange with spices,and other refreshing small dishes were spread over our table. "On the house" our waiter said."

"We went there around 21.30 and it was still open ! As it is a open area, I suppose it is better to come at night. The atmosphere is nice and warm with a cute little garden. The waitress is very nice. The food is great ! With homemade beverage (try the icetea) ! And really cheap ! A must"
