"It's not the first time we ordered pizzas we came with friends and as we say vulgarly we left some money except that the manager in a first time may not have to put his own because we're not in a bar but offering a beer would have been a more than commercial gesture to my taste but otherwise your pizzas are very good"

"Pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant. The à la carte choice is very wide, and the dishes we took were very good with more delicate flavors than the Lambda restaurants. prices are also a little higher, include 20-25 euros. The service is correct and reactive, and we were offered a digestive at the end of the meal."

"I was discovered by chance and enjoyed it. dishes are homemade, meats and sauces taste, vegetables are fresh and crunchy. The service is impeccable. The two ladies are adorable, a big smile and an obvious pleasure to hold their restaurant. prices are really honest. They're also taking a little hidden treasure that I put directly into my top 5 on toulon."

"I recently stayed in Toulon for 3 nights and had terrible trouble finding a decent restaurant that was inexpensive......until i came across Soleil d'Afrique, a beautiful little Senegalese restaurant in the heart of the old streets of Toulon.The meals were inexpensive (a main between 8 - 15 euros) and the wine/cocktails also. The food however was delicious.My partner and I struggled to get to grips with the menu (i have a basic knowledge of French but little more) however our choice of Gambas a la Provence (a regional prawn dish) and Assiette Texane (Handmade burger with egg and chips) were exquisite.Despite the language barrier, we managed to get on very well with the two jolly hostesses. Attempt to speak a little of the local language and they are very patient and gracious.Our meal came to 40 euros, including two mains, a dessert, a jug of wine and two delicious cocktails - which was pretty much the cheapest meal we came across in our trip there. It was by far the best restaurant we visited.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
