"From the outside this place is a little unassuming, but inside, I was very impressed with the food and the feel of the place. There were the little details that allowed you to believe that there was some genuine authenticity to the place. The walls were adorned with Japanese writing not on a piece of paper taped to the wall, I mean the wall itself had Idiograms on it. I don't know what it all said mind you, but it lent an air of the exotic and a sense of realness to the experience. There was Japanese themed kitsch here and there, not so much to be tacky but enough to again, lend authenticity. As to the food, the soups were really excellent as was the salad, but of course you want to know about the sushi. It was quite good! Everything tasted fresh, the rice had an excellent chew and the colors were vibrant. Definitely worth a visit for good sushi in a chill atmosphere!"
