"My first time here in my attempt of trying new restaurants. I am a fan of noodle (chinese, japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, etc . But most of the time I like noodle with broth because I think it's more savory that way. So trying a dry udon noodle was a bit skeptical for me because I wasn't sure if I would like it. To my surprise, this is the best udon style for me. It's not stir fry, dry but not totally dry because they put sauce ground pork, green onions, and other veggies with a poached egg on top. The direction is to mix everything for about 20 seconds, the same amount of time I take washing my hand before demolishing this bowl of noodle, to make sure the sauce and the meat are distributed equally to every strain of the udon noodle. This is the best udon style I've ever had (I know I had just mentioned that but it was that good . The cherry on top was, before finishing your bowl, a server would come to you and offer free bowl of rice to mix up with your sauces after finishing the noodle. I asked if I could have a half a scoop of rice and the server honored it! It was the perfect amount and I devoured that rice+mixed sauce in 3 bites.
