"Appears to be ‘under new management’ and has sadly gone downhill. Chips greasy and with a dreadful after taste and no longer doing Korkers sausages instead some cheap and nasty alternative that is more filler than pork. Disappointing given the previously excellent food served in this place. Wait times weren’t great. Meal served now in a plastic polystyrene container rather than the previous cardboard or just paper wrapped not a good environmental move."

"We've been visiting this place most weeks since its reopened to deliver fish chips to our elderly parents who had been missing this treat. We are always greeted with a smile, we've been so often the gentleman remembers our order! A Clean establishment, freshly cook fish and chips which are delicious. This comes fish and chip shop is highly recommended by my parents, who are very passionate about their fish and chips."

"I decided to visit this takeaway whilst on holiday am so pleased that I did, I ordered a king prawn curry with egg fried rice from the friendly lady at the counter, I had my credit card in my hand to pay as that's what most places prefer you to use these days, but was told cash only paid via a jug that you put the money in are given your change in the same way, they are seriously following Covid 19 guidelines. I took a seat taking in all those lovely aromas in the air, and in no time at all my meal was brought out to me from a very friendly looking man, when I got back to my accommodation after a short drive, the meal was absolutely delicious, the rice was light airy, the curry sauce was so thick unlike most places these days where many resemble water with no real flavour, plus the amount of prawns was astounding as I normally get 4 or 5 the rest is alive with onion, but not this one as I must of had 9 or even 10 of them all full of flavour, with only 2 small pieces of onion, an unbelievably tasty meal for the price paid only wish it were my local Chinese takeaway, the local people are SO lucky that live nearby, thank you so much!!"

"I have used this place several times now, the staff are very nice if not a little difficult to understand. You usually get a Ltr of Coke free and Prawn crackers (we spend around £35 , and they do free delivery withing range. The food is generally of a good standard in comparison with othe chinese fast food centres. The last time here we ordered Sweet Sour chicken balls (deep fried but excellent, nice chunky chicken with crispy batter , special fried rice (nicely cooked and flavoursome , mushroom fried rice (also very good , beef in blackbean sauce (very gloopy and curious pieces of curly beef, chicken satay (done to perfection, very tasty , chicken chowmein and cashew chicken. My problem is the chicken dishes, except the chicken balls have very odd textured chicken. Its not grainy like normal chicken, its so soft you can squidge it through your teeth! This put me off so much I didn't eat the rest of the food with the wierd stuff (meat? inside it. The beef is rather odd too, kind of curly strips and very chewy. So on that basis I'm out."

"Probably the best Chinese takeaway in the area but also the most expensive. Cooking is a good standard for a takeaway, and the food is less salty than most. We were disappointed with the Singapore noodles, there’s no bean sprouts or peppers or onions and hardly any prawns and too much curry powder!"
