"I have been to this place a couple of times in the last a couple of years and recommended to people. But every time I realize place is getting outdated; carpets are very old and dirty, chairs are also same. Last weekend we were there again, waited for 10-15 minutes ( normal for a weekend and dinner time ) , there was a long table dirty and none of the staff members approached and cleaned. It looked bad for people lining up. Later on cleaning the table was not proper either. When we sat down , we tried to give feedback to manager ( no complain , just a friendly feedback for the staff ) but she wasn't really willing to listen. For some reason you have to get up and order at the counter and also pay there. They provide plastic fork and knife. Food was good , our waiter was fast but place looks like a cafeteria not a restaurant. I don't think we will return."

"This is a great place for pub grub! They have a kids menu which I really appreciate, and their servers always very attentive and friendly! I highly recommend the deep fried mars bar on their dessert menu! They top it with whip cream, caramel and chocolate. It's only $6 or so, and is a perfect share-able. I will come back here every time I see a movie or visit nearby shops."

"Trinidadian restaurant run by sour-faced people. The portions were ok but you needed a microscope to find the potatoes in the goat curry. The doubles were tasty. Will not be returning and they won't be there much longer anyway as the property has been sold to condo developers."

"We were visiting family in the area and wanted a local restaurant for lunch. We had walked by this place a few times during the week and thought we might give it a try.We decided to split a 2 piece basked of Halibut between the three of us. The staff split the fries into three basket for us and we divided the fish ourselves. It was great.Two really decent sized pieces of fresh tasting fish, cooked perfectly in a batter that crisped up without absorbing too much oil. Dining on the patio on a weatherbeaten picnic table just seemed to add to the experience.The meal reminded me of a fish and chip dinner we had at "By the Beach" restaurant in Portugal Bay Newfoundland (not reviewed.) You would expect good fish and chips in Newfoundland but not necessarily in Harbord Village. If I lived in Toronto I would go back."

"On the outside it looks like nothing special, but once you sit down, look at the menu and sip one of their many well chosen beers you know you stumbled into the right place. The pub has a pleasant atmosphere, the service is first rate and the menu is actually one of the most exciting parts of the experience. It is, to use a technical term, crazy good. I will return to this pub. That's the best endorsement I can give."

"What a busy place! Visited on a Sunday night, and it was packed! The servers were friendly and quite accommodating.The place itself is a bit tight in terms of table arrangements and is noisy but not too the point where you cant have a conversation.Food was delicious and decent quantity. My personal favorite were the chicken wings.All in all, would definitely visit again."
