"The food and service here is excellent, you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. They have a very extensive rum menu and give great suggestion if you are a lover of rum. Prices are great, don't forget to have rum cake for dessert. A great place to spend an evening with friends, Thursday is also keroke night."

"It was a busy December shopping and cruising home on Avenue Road. decided to stop at Scotthill Restaurant and cuisine. My main fear was finding parking on this busy thoroughfare, lucky for me I found a paid parking inf front of the restaurant. Seems everyone...was shopping as I was the only person.The accommodation was elegant with decorative artwork panels and moody lighting .Since the menu was black it was very difficult to make out the entire menue . Anyhow proceeded to order the lunch special which was jerk chicken and rice with veggies and a local bottle punch. To my surprise during the wait for my lunch, was present with Caribbean soup which was delicious .The lunch presentation was excellently displayed on a large platter with oxtail gravy .I was really impressed with the jerk chicken which was soft and delicious. Ambient Jamaican reggae music kept me entertained while I dined. Before I leave, I decided to order a side dish of jerk shrimp for the road; but the hostess brought a shrimp lunch instead which was easily rectified by the hostess at no extra charge. Paying by interact was the easiest system I ever came across in a restaurant. It was one of the least hectic lunches I experience and recommend trying this location anytime. oh! yes! the shrimp lunch was thoroughly enjoyed the next day at home."

"A soup place has taken over this spot a few months ago. They used to sell quick Chinese food both dine in and take out. Perfect alternative to Chinatown on rainy days or bad weather for quick Chinese food cravings. Too bad they closed."

"We go here quite often for a quick and reasonably priced lunch. Service is fast and friendly. The place is usually occupied at lunch on weekdays but not too crowded. There are a number of lunch specials on the menu that include a choice of spring roll or soup. We have tried most of the specials. My new favourite dish is the spicy noodle with veggie and tofu. The dish has just the right amount of spice (3.5 on a hotness scale of 5). I also like the spicy chicken. They have other dishes that are less spicy and sweeter that I have tried such as the mango chicken or the chicken pad thai. I find those dishes a bit too sweet. There are some in my group that consistently order the chicken pad thai, so it is not that sweet - just too sweet for me. The food quality is very good (7 for some dishes and 8 for my faves). Considering the reasonable prices for lunch and good food, I will continue to frequent this place."

"My friend and I gave this restaurant a try while walking down Dundas Street looking for a place to eat. There is a great variety of options in the menu and the food itself is good overall. The service was prompt and attentive, and the place was clean, modern, and spacious. It is quite pricey for a cheapster like me almost $50 for three meals (without drinks) before tips. It wasn't particularly busy on the Saturday evening of our visit as only three tables were occupied."
