"I've had takeaways from here before and always good but I'm sat here with one this evening and I can honestly say that I've eaten tastier ones from my local CO OP. Inedible! It is tasteless apart from the taste of the oil! Over £40s worth of food going to waste. Sorry Barakah but I will not be back."

"I’ve had a couple of meal in the restaurant so I thought I’d try a take out which didn’t go to plan! After collecting my order I got home and realized once we opened the takeaway they had given us the incorrect order. We did ring up straight away to notify them and asked them to replace the order with what we ordered. They said that they were too busy on deliveries to send out my order as I didn’t want to drive and collect it again (which was very annoying). We said that we’d keep the order as by this time we just couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. I suppose when ordering a take away you just want what you ordered/paid for."

"Great friendly chip shop.Always good service and a good choice of chip shop fare.Allways good portions ,and if it’s your thing the kebab meat is second to none.Never tried the Chinese but I’m told it’s excellent."

"The restaurant is lovely and small. The toilet is not what you'd expect from this kind of restaurant with only one toilet (no disabled) and it is not nice at all with mis matched taps and bars at the window. We were there for the food, which varied from amazing on one course through to basic on others, such as a cheesy croquette on one course didn't have the flavour you'd expect from this kind of restaurant. It didn't help a lot of the courses came luke warm, one with cold pasta on which I think hugely impacted the taste. It's a shame as it's a tiny restaurant so I don't know how it sat for long enough or whether it's pre prepared and they didn't heat it through entirely. It is good you can bring your own drinks, we were never offered a drinks menu so we weren't sure if they sold soft drinks on top so maybe bring these too if you are going as there was no sign anywhere of people having any drinks given. Overall I potentially would try again as it is good value if it was hot food with consistent flavouring incase it was one bad night but if it's the same again I wouldn't recommend."

"This is the best Indian in the region by far!! My brother and I went for a pre-birthday dinner and the food was amazing. We ordered Poppadoms, Naans, Dumplings, and Curries. They were all sublime!! The only critism I would have is their beer selection, however the beer they do have is very good."
