"I wandered in wanting a snack, but found the staff didn 't know what was vegan their menu only has a symbol for 'vegetarian '. One item (a brownie) had 'vegan ' in the description and the waitress said it wasn 't, which was confusing! Also things like the apple pie were apparently not vegan. So my options were limited, but in the end I got a nice turmeric latte with coconut milk and an acai whip with fruit. It was nice sitting at the wooden bench out the back in the sun, watching the ocean. It 's table service only, and I waited ages for the acai whip, but I was on a long weekend chilling out so it didn 't matter. The only other disappointment was that the acai whip came in a disposable cup (with 'compostable ' spoon I 've heard these actually take ages to decompose) even if you 're eating in. All in all, not really a vegan vibe here, but good enough if you 're in the area, and it 's a nice setting, with no traffic, and an ocean view out the back."

"I had bought a voucher to try the restaurant. We all got dressed up for a family night out. When we arrived they advised us that they no longer were accepting the voucher. And yes, I had told them I had the voucher when I booked the day before. They didn't offer us any incentive to eat there anyway and the chef/wonder didn't bother to speak with us or apologise- just had the waitress tell us. And the place was empty except for one table! No wonder! So we up and left and got sushi down the road. We won't be back."

"While the waiter was beautiful, we received two luke warm suppers with uncooked vegets and raw meat. pho normally has a boiling substance, so that the sweet and thin cut meat cook in the broth. we returned them when they were not edible. They...must have just microwaved them, which meant that the ceramic shells were too hot to touch and the shimmers did not cook properly. really terrible suppen. we are not coming back."

"Had our first meal here after waiting for years and hearing fantastic reviews. We had a table of 8 and each ordered a dish each plus rice. The mains came out minus the rice!! We thought rice was basic and quick but we waited over 20 minutes after our mains were served and after asking where our rice was! On a positive note the food was beautiful but didn't make up for not having rice to enjoy it with."

"Happened across this little gem as we were searching for cheap and quick. Ended up enjoying some of the nicest fish n chips on the coast. I had Barramundi and beer-battered chips and hubby had crumbed flathead. The tempura was awesome and the seafood was obviously straight out of the water fresh. We will definitely be back. Prices were more expensive than average but the quality warranted it."
