"We 3 adult were actually in their (the arch) guest house, which was very comfortable and clean. the workers were brilliant and helpful with all our needs. they make 2 choices to breakfast, full of Irish or continental. I would recommend the continental we had a meal in their lamplight restaurant in our 2nd night booked. wow, the eating was amazing and portioning very good. we ordered 4 meal times and shared, forget to make photos. we also had a bottle of wine. we will definitely stay back and book a table. thanks to all the staff."

"Absolutely amazing night had at macdaras for a birthday,fantastic staff and wonderful food with love live background music that just adds to an already relaxing atmosphere,I have been several times now and look forward to returning again very shortly,the food is jus fab and this is a badly needed addition to clifden,very reasonably priced but absolutely delicious food from starter to dessert!!! More than 5* is deserved here,Donal is beyond accommodating and welcoming making macdaras a joy to be in. All involved are doing fantastic,if u have any sense at all this will be your fist port of call in clifden,you will not be disappointed"
