"I normally get a nice meal but not this time. I meant to order chicken tikka masala but accidentally ordered tandoori chicken masala by mistake so it was on the bone. But it was the leg of the chicken and some of it was black the most unappetising meal I have seen for a long time. So I opened the tarka Dahl and this was just water. When I phone he laughed and said oh you wanted the thicker version. I have this many times and it is never a runny watery version especially when your paying £4.50 for lentils. So annoyed it all went in the bin. Once a Restuarant sends out food like this I never go back. They knew what they were doing when they sent it out and they obviously don’t care. When you know they don’t care Wasn’t sure anymore how old the chicken was as it didn’t look freshly made. Dried out chicken probably one or two days old"

"Just home having had two excellent curries--Patsy is ace cook!! Curries rated from 2 mild) to 10 stinger) so pick the heat preferred. Also good choice of English, eg. liver , homemade sausages , lamb shanks. All cooked to order. Good choice of beers etc, and Mark makes a mean Pimms, perfect for this heatwave. Outside seating too. Pub run by husband and wife, Mark and Patsy. Their pride in the business really shows. Always locals in to chat to too ! Tonight holiday makers from Dorset, who are staying locally had found them !! A real English Pub with great food. Highly recommended."

"Really not nice! Crispy seaweed wasn’t, prawn toast not cut into portions, pork dish ok, special fried rice was a tub of rice with a pile of veg on top, what’s that about? Not sure about the chicken dish it was so sweet and sugary, and it arrived 35 minutes early, we weren’t ready!"
