"Visited twice for take out a la carte. Each visit I had a pleasant experience. The woman at the counter was friendly and the food was very tasty If you don't order in advance there's about a 20 min or so wait. I ordered the cabbage, a must have) it's a juicy , buttery tasting, and flavorful delight, with a side of rice and peas and one chicken patty and one spinach patty. Since the rice and peas were dry I added the juice from the cabbage and it was perfecto! The Pattie's were soft enough to sink your teeth into as the crust was made just right. I usually don't eat the edges of crust but in this case I devoured the entire patty because the crust was not hard. I preferred the chicken one over the spinach, but next time I'll try their beef patty along with my usual chicken patty. I also ordered the brown stew chicken so tender, juicy and flavorful I also used a bit of juice from the brown stew chicken on the rice and peas as well to compare it to the cabbage juice and hey you can't go wrong with either one! Both were perfect with the entire order. I like how the portions are enough for two, or enough for lunch the next day! The pricing is fair but the Ting grapefruit soda $5) was a bit steep I'd say. But overall I can't complain about the portion size or flavor both done just right!There's plenty of parking in the shopping center."

"On our way to LAX for our return flight ?? to India we stopped here to have lunch. It's inside Lawndale plaza so adequate parking is available. The menu had variety of both north and south Indian dishes. There is a buffet also but we ordered from the menu. We had Masala Dosa, Onion Uttappa in south Indian dishes and Palak paneer and Naan in North Indian dishes. Afterwards we had sweet Lassi. All of them had excellent taste. ???????? ???? "!!! DO NOT GO HERE !!!THEY WILL RIP YOU OFFOrdered the kalua and cabbage pork plate for 15 bucks. The food comes out and I open the lid and red flags go off. The way this is served in the islands and all over LA is 2 scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and a pile of pork and cabbage. What I received broke down as follows: 10% scoop of macaroni salad, which was good70% rice covering the entire remaining space of the take out container10% cabbage sprinkled over the rice10% kalua pork sprinkled over the rice (maybe 2 oz of pork)I began to eat it without expecting the huge amount of rice under the thin layer of pork and cabbage, but once I figured it out I let them know and the kid up front just held his head down and apologized like it happens on the reg. For clarity, attached is a photo of what you would expect when you order a kalua plate."
