"Our first night at Le Touquet and we came across this place. We were all hungry and just had a very long drive so should have done our research but didn’t. The place was busy, we reviewed the menu and though it was pricey, thought...we’d give it a go as the food must be good as the place is popular. I had a prawn risotto, husband had omelette and chips, kids had pizza. House red wine was good. Food was good but nothing special. I found the waiter quite smarmy. Though I was making an effort to speak French, he thought he’d make fun of my pronunciation. It really wasn’t funny. Take a stroll further up the Rue St Jean and there are more options there and in adjoining streets"

"I'm not a lover of snails but needed to have them to impress my kids. I must say, at Le Zinc the snails were more than edible, I actually would order them again. Everything else we had was very tasty too. I would also highly recommend the Northern French-style tiramisu. It didn't bear much relation to tiramisu but it was lovely. This is not the best place for younger kids. My 11-year-old is rather fussy and didn't like anything on the menu. But as other reviewers have said it is a great place for an authentic French food experience. Not cheap - €130 for a two course meal for 5 people, including half a bottle of wine, and one only had chips as a main course."
