"Their curries are the best. One of the advantages of this place is all the curries are on display & one can taste the curries before placing the order. They used to make ginger chicken but not anymore. It used to be awesome. Also i haven't even seen fire chicken for a while now, it was good for the people who love spicy food. I would recommend them to put ginger chicken back in their menu. Irrespective we love takeaways from there."

"This restaurant has been running quite a few years. The success is its theme of rustic presentation. No nice set up but there is a theme of eating street-food. Using charcoal is an important factor for BBQ rather than providing some update infra-red stove for the selling point of "healthy". Price is cheap comparing to the quality of meat provided. Serivce is attentive with regular changing of the used wire gauze. It is a clever method of trading. No particular technque, no fancy set-up but providing the rustic good quality of meat with hopsitable service."

"We enjoyed going to Simla for dinner. There could have been a bit of time between entrée and mains, but it didn't bother us as we had places to be. Overall we felt the food was a little too salty that applied across everything...we ate. Ladies working there were lovely and the internal décor looked really pretty."

"We visited this restaurant midweek after walking up and down the restaurants outside the Plaza and deciding their menu looked like the best for that night. I ordered a wonton soup and the pancake entree as well as a soy milk drink.

The food came out fast and there was plenty of seating at the time so there was no trouble getting a table. I loved the pancake and soy milk and the wonton soup was delicious but due to my own dislikes I didn't enjoy the actual wonton's flavour and texture."

"Portion sizes could do more with a little, but otherwise, normally tending to tons meat itself, I love this place. the aromen are great, the imitation meat stain. I love her curry and chicken nuggets, and the dame at the theke is always super nice. militant reminds me how my mother does it. but seriously, they try the chickening bugs."

"Ambience: Yashraj has a nice and subtle ambience with no overpowering themes. The resturant has a sense of warmth to where you can enjoy your meal with family and friends alike.

Food: The range of Indian dishes available is extensive with each dish having distinct flavours. I would recommend the starters platter as it is a good value for money as you get to taste a range of different dishes. The ingredients are fresh and the curries are some of the nice flavoursome curries around Brisbane. Do try out their malai kofta and Yashraj Special Goat curry. That was something different and quite delicious. The Naan breads were not doughy at all and were freshly baked and served.
Overall the food was well prepared with good quality and fresh ingredients. Oh and their Mango Lassi has a good semi-thick consistency and is a very nice accompaniment with the meals.

Service: The hostess was quick to welcome us and seat us down. Every meal was served on time and the wait staff kept tabs on us throughout the night and ensured that all our questions were answered and provided a good service."

"This has got to be the MOST authentic Malaysian restaurant outside of Malaysia! The Nasi Goreng is just to die for. Same with Char Gway Teow. One of the great thing is they are very flexible you can order both of these dishes as vegetarian. They will swap out the meat with fried tofu, and not use the fish sauce. It still taste as great and authentic as the original. It is now my go to vegetarian restaurant. Give it a try! Start with Char Gway Teow or Nasi Goreng!"
