"We visited last Saturday as a family, 2 adults, 1 teen 1 other teen didn’t make it). It was just lovely. So so friendly, great atmosphere and really comfortable in every way. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service, and just the overall joy of the place, is a little piece of village heaven in these post-covid times? My son left his mobile behind and a lovely waiter went out of his way to reunite them! Then, this evening, we ordered online take away for a group of sleep over teens- I walked in to collect it and was immediately greeted warmly, asking if my son now had his phone back safely! I was offered a complimentary glass of wine while I waited, only a few minutes, for my order. I chatted with a lady who was also waiting with a glass of vino for her take away. This restaurant feels so welcoming in the community, following the months of the pandemic and I am so grateful for it. Thankyou, all of you, in the Bookham Tandoori, for welcoming us back so really brilliantly!"

"This is a home delivery service only but the food is consistently excellent. If you live within 3 miles of Dorking, don 't bother going out to collect a takeaway have your food delivered. It is important, however, to order well before you want to eat because the ETA is always 'about 45 minutes ', which can mean anything between half an hour and well over an hour! The food has always been worth waiting for and gives plenty of time to cook your own rice if you want to or just have a couple of drinks while you 're waiting. I 've been using them for several years and will continue to do so."

"A little hit and really miss. had the delivery yesterday evening and was very good, a nice thick sauce with our vindaloo, but had vindaloo with a very thin suppe as sauce before. I have also updated stars for portion size, better portion size this time round."

"On a Friday evening a delivery was required, the staff that took my order was very polite. was recommended to be hired with me within 40-60 minutes. order came within the time frame. shipping driver was also polite and friendly. I was able to use contactless payment at my own door, which was great. the food was amazing. beautiful and hot and was not fat. everything was full of taste. was perfect. all round delicious food and good value for money. we really enjoyed our meal. Thank you."

"The service in the restaurant was very good and friendly We had a good meal here, which we enjoyed, as part of our stay at the Sofitel. If you have got the meal as part of a package with your booking, make sure you get a voucher for the meal when you check in as we had to go back to reception to get ours. Drinks are expensive. Because of the nature of the hotel we expected to pay over the odds but got a bit of a shock when the bill came and 12.5% service charge had been added. This meant that a large Pinot Grigio cost over £12!"

"We had no reservations! we showed up and asked us to sit! the host at the front was the highest courtesy and profi! she even went out of her way to find out which table is booked for much later so that we can be accommodated! only if we hope she asked if we could eat with some time we knew. from the time we sat all the way to the end of the meal, our waitress was simply beautiful and very accommodating. it is also very well informed about the menu and the ingredients! the food was delicious and the service was also excellent! I could not say enough positive things about this establishment, because there is nothing to be grumst in here, since everyone is just nice and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant and will be back if I ever again am here with the family"
