"Not been to Cleethorpes for years, fancied some fish and chips and tried to find the chippie I had previously used. While hunting I came across The Fryer. Just caught them before closing at 2.30, and the staff were kind enough to cook me fresh fish even staying open late to do so. I'm so glad they did, not only was it super value small haddock and chips 3.50 !!!! it was delicious, great quality fish, fresh skin on, nice white flesh tasted fabulous. Chips were also of great quality and quantity. if this was local I would be here every week... an great excuse for fish day Friday !"

"A warm and welcoming atmosphere. not loud, we called a weekday during school holidays and did not notice children. the staff was very friendly and helpful. no separate vegan menu, no vegan mayonnaise, vegan options clearly marked on the menu. beyond burger was amazeballs. had to pay for BBQ sauce as this was the only vegan sauce that was laid on my burger. not specified 5* due to limited options for vegans. jacket potato/burger /pizza. eating was hot and tasty like. would definitely visit again. updated by previous review on 2021-08-16"

"GOAT. The Greatest Of All Time. A phrase common in sports applied to the best player or team to ever play the game. In terms of Chinese takeaways, this may be the GOAT. Granted, I haven't eaten at every Chinese takeaway but this one stood out instantly. First off, the portion sizes. They were big. Sometimes that can prove to be dangerous with quantity making up for poor quality, but that was far from the case here. Ordered a special hot box which was full of all things salt and pepper, a good dollop of rice and chips. Slightly low numbers in salt and pepper chicken but that didn't matter. A real feast. Shout out to the salt and pepper ribs. We also had a double happy which is crispy chicken fillet and crispy roast duck served on rice with curry sauce. Again, very, very nice. Final dish for us was crispy beef which again was fantastic. Lots of onions in there. Good sized curry sauce pots. Delivery available. As an out of towner, I will be back next time. 15 minutes from phone call to collection. Can't grumble at that. Surprised to see only a few reviews of the place."

"We have been loyal customers of another Grimsby Indian restuarant for years. During lock down we used Uber Eats and received a 50% off code so thought we would try here. It didn’t disappoint and was so tasty that we ordered again yesterday. We got the meal deal and wow, great value, very tasty food, very fresh. Onion bhji were amazing, as were chicken jalfreiz and the mushroom chaat. Rogan Josh lots of taste and naan bread too. Definitely recommend and ordered on the app for delivery between 7.15 and 7.45 it arrived absolutely spot on 7.15, amazing. Well done. We have decided now to make this our regular :"

"Outstanding freshness, quality, service and a great price. Ordered 2 small fish, 1 chips, 1 curry and scraps. The fish were a good size. Really fresh.. and cooked to order.. perfection. Non greasy and extremely tasty. Light, crispy batter encapsulated the white, flaky fish. The chips.. enough for two.. were really good. Hot, soft and the potato quality spot on. The curry suace.. hot temperature.. traditional green/yellow and nice and thick. Very tasty. The scraps.. huge bag.. dead crunchy.. and actually not greasy! Despite being what they are! Recently award 5 star hygiene again... and no wonder... brilliant family team. Service brilliant as usual from the cheerful, polite owner. A credit to New Waltham."
