"It was my favourite Indian food restaurant, food use to be delicious, today we had family dinner here all chicken curry were made out of chicken breast instead of chicken thigh. And vegetarian curry was not good either. I’ve seen first time Restaurant Owner was cooking himself (probably need training), seems to me all of old staff left Thanks to Immigration Nz. Never going back there again"

"What a pleasure to find this café in the heart of a rural city where you really expect 'real' vegan food. In a small shopping center, next to the New World supermarket with many parking spaces behind the arcade, it is easy to find and spacious. Beautiful helpful staff and many clearly marked vegan and paleo options. Excellent selection of organic juices and they even make their own cashew milk for coffee (although they also offer soya). The day I left, the (vegan) soup was roasted tomatoes. I skipped the soup when I wanted dessert later, so I started the net. We shared the vegan smoked veg and cashew pipe that was beautiful. I ordered it with salad as all salads are vegan. But I would have had it with wedges or fries. The vegan burger was really good big fat delicious burgerpatty served with excellent frits that looked home. It was a very generous portion. For dessert we ordered a raw chocolate avocado cheese cake, a cappuccino pipe and a Cardamom apricot chocolate beaker. I liked them all, but my fav was the paprika cake. They sell Nice Cream Tubs, so we have one of the mini-tub vanilla ice cream and ate with our desserts. I spoke to the owner who is beautiful and so passionate about bringing vegan and raw options for this community. The other diners were very mixed, don't think I've ever been in a café that was for me next to the 'typical' NZer. Wonderful to be able to eat all together and expose everyday people to a number of foods they would never know about."

"I had my first experience at Artisan on Friday and what a treat it was. Superb service with the friendliest staff, the food was delicious and so well presented. It was well worth the 1 hour drive from Tai Tapu! Totally recommend this place"

"Absolutely delicious! Such good Thai food and very reasonably priced as well. We had the pad Thai with chicken and the red curry with pork. Both were incredible, I love that there are options of four different spice levels for each menu item so you can tailor it to your spiciness preference. Hopefully we will be going back soon!"

"Very pleasant with nice food and good service. We were able to take our own wine which was good and there was plenty of gluton free selections in the menu. It was a thouroughly good evening and we all enjoyed it with some to bring away with us as well."
