"Stopped in for lunch one sunny day. Very pleasant lady who served us was very patient with my bad French. Great setting on the promenade overlooking the beach and bay. We had Mussels with Roqueforte and Cod Espangnole. Both were excellent. Prices considering the view...were very fine and better than the other restaurants right around it. Would definitely return."

"C'mon, this place doesn't deserve to be 48th out of 48 restaurants reviewed in St Jean de Luz! We ate here on a Tuesday night and there were plenty of customers. Mostly locals, it would seem, who don't care what Tripadvisor reviewers think of their local oriental restaurant. The signage outside alludes to serving chinese, vietnamese and thai cuisine. Okay, this should already tell you that you're unlikely to get anything representing these nations coming out of this kitchen. Our chicken "curry" was neither red nor green. The prawns in basil didn't resemble a dish of the same name I've eaten in Thai restaurants. But the cooking was competent and in a generally oriental style. They serve Tsingtao beer so you can get that feeling of being a lot further East than the Pyrenees. Service was friendly and efficient. If you're down here in St JdL and a little tired of Basque or French cuisine, had one too many pintxo, or can't face another plateau de fruits de mer, then I can see why you'd want to slip in here for something different."
