"Food was so so yum and nourishing and service was lovely! we both had the current lunch set, which had the choice of rice or bread, and included a drink of choice, miso soup, chickpea curry, karaage chicken, hummus and various other tasty bits. we also had the dessert tasting stand out for us was the brownie!! would definitely recommend vegeto liko"

"This beautiful small restaurant is located near a pleasant stretch of the hirosegawa river near the metro station kawaramachi. why are you going here? good music (I have learned about nujabes here, cozy couches and a warm relaxing interieur, and a varied menu with excellent fruit and vegetables drinks and pasta, pizza curry and rice options, many of which can be made vegetarian or vegan. the place is small, so if they make more than 4 people in any case a reservation. I especially enjoyed the salad with great presentation and seasonal vegetables. I had a very good cream sauce pasta (vegetarian recently, and once had a very unusual but tasty sushi lunch that neither fish nor rice (made with nuts! this place deserves it really better known and better protected. the prices are low- most escaped are under 1000 yen, open to cheap considering the quality of the ingredients and attractive presentation. even moderate Italian places calculate 1200 for a pasta, for example. the owners are also friendly and welcoming with interest in yoga and more."

"The place is located at the center of the city, close to the hotel where I live. All food is claimed to be halal, so this is a muslim-friendly restaurant. However, i felt personally that the inside place is so small and crampted. The food is O.K., it doesn't taste that special, but the food size is the thing that is should be appreciated because it is large amount of kari and naan. Also the service time is considerably fast. Price is also not bad. Overall 4/5."

"SUGAR BUT NO SPICE OVER PRICED NOT AUTHENTIC INDIAN After reading reviews we expected authentic Indian food. We were both very disappointed. The naans WERE FRESHLY MADE in a naan oven but ruined by sugar. The butter naan was sweet. The kashimiri naan was so so sweet it could be a dessert item. Very little actual chicken in the chicken Malai and what was there was poor quality mostly just old bones. Tasted powdery and Japanese spices not Indian. Dal Makhani lacked lentils and had no Indian spices. No idea what was in it but it looked and tasted like Japanese mild curry. We asked for our food to be hot (2 chilli on there scale of 0-3). It tasted like chilli powder had been stirred into already pre made dishes. Not authentic heat in food that occurs when chilli is added during preparation. Rice was Japanese risotto style not basmati. Beware when you order drinks. I was promised can of coke zero but after very long wait served only a glass full of ice with less than 100ml of soft drink for ¥350! After I complained the remainder of the 600ml bottle was handed over. Service very slow and staff seemed distracted and not attentive. Over priced small serves of JAPANESE FOOD SERVED WITH SWEET NAANS."

"Super friendly and attentive staff. My waiter purposely seated me so I could see the grill where they were cooking the gyutan, and when he saw me about to take a photo of my meal, he came over and turned the teacup so that Rikyu was visible. Small touches like that made the meal a humorous and enjoyable little experience. Food itself enjoyed it all but nothing too special. Main thing is that I wish everything, especially the tongue, was served at a hotter temperature."
