"Nice ambience. Offers multiple vegan options as starters and mains and one in dessert section. Would have given higher rating if the vegan options were more varied. Liked that while they have a separate veggie menu, the vegan items are in the main menu too. Good service."

"This restaurant is one of my favourites in London, even before I switched to a vegetarian diet. Everything is delicious and I can't recommend it enough!"

"We had a brilliant time with family at Thai Rice. Great atmosphere, really great service, the ladies that served us were super, the venue was nice venue especially as we had nice view of Riverside. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. Only thing that let it down was the food. For instance my beef stir fry dish was slightly dry, the pad Thai was burnt and starters were bit bland. The only thing I liked was spring rolls and rice. I wasn't overly keen on the dessert. But the waitresses were really good and quickly replaced burnt pad thai. On the whole brilliant service, great venue but food wasn't up to much."

"One of the best South Indian restaurants in London. Every dish is authentic and freshly prepared. I liked the gobi 65, vada, and the South Indian style parothas. The meals are good as well. You get a wide variety of vegetables, sambar, rasam and daal. Really tasty and worth your money"

"A small cafe, heavy name and a wonderful place to hang out. USP is being absolutely vegan, having a chill intellectual vibe and changing menu every 6 weeks. Cool. Food was innovative and delicious. I took Kombucha on side. Wasn't disappointed. Large black olives were suck-worthy. Gin and tonic was standard. Service was to the point. Both the waiters were patient, poised and friendly. Ambience is Van Goghy. Starry canopy, hanging ferns and bursting surrounding. I loved the way the small space was arranged. I love independent cafés. This one will definitely be on top side."

"I was in feltham for work and looking for a new vegetarian restaurant that I could try. chini hor wasn't too far from where I worked, and I decided to try it. I'm glad I did it! it is not a chic, formal restaurant. there is a counter for taking out, and many tables where you can sit and wait. service was helpful, good and fast. I have ordered a few things: aloo gobi (cartoffeln blumenkohl) palak paneer (spinchkäse,) a little garlauch naan and a few sweets. all were pretty good, with very decent portions. I also discovered achari paneer tikka, an appetizer that really was one of the most delicious and especially I was ever with marinated (clean disc cubes, swash, pickles and seasoned.) wow. as I missed in previous Indian restaurants, I don't know, but I'll take care of going anywhere in the future. the menu was large and varied, but no explanations. so it was good that I had eaten Indian food in the past, and that I knew what I wanted. When I asked the waitress what curry they would suggest, she didn't know what to say. then she suggested the aloo gobi who was really good. Indian eating is always delightful, and I was glad to find another cheap and inexpensive place to eat in this part of london. I should point out that while the restaurant is clearly marked, I went past it at first and thought it was a take-out or butcher shop instead of a restaurant. look carefully and they will enjoy it a bit!"
