"I went with The Food Ranger (YouTube) today. The best curry udon I’ve ever had. Tempura right out of the fryer. Noodles from rolling to boiling to bowl! I wouldn’t expect anything less in Udon country but — THAT CURRY was extraordinary! If that’s not enough, amazing service, friendly staff who smile, talk and move quickly. The whole team is very good at their jobs and this explains the line out the door from the moment they open! A must visit stop in Takamatsu. -John"

"Great local Tonkatsu place for Japanese Tonkatsu lovers. Great value for lunch menu. Dinner a bit more pricy but still good value compared with Tokyo or Osaka shops. Yummy miso soup. Price ranges from Yen 1500 up to Yen 3000 for the Yume Olive Pork Chop great for pork lovers For an average lunch menu price of Yen1000, it is excellent value for a good meal plus miso soup. "Totally loved this place. If you walk the Shikoku 88 pilgrimage, you should definitely stop. Lunch is at 1000 ¥ per set, servings are very fair and taste is quite large. The deserts are also amazing. It is an oriental vegan restaurant (no garlic, no roots)."
