"Today we made a small trip to the north of Saarland in a rainy but dry weather, to Losheim an See, although our destination was Lake Bostal. That's it. Actually, we really wanted to feel comfortable in the Hochwälder Wohlfühlhotel with coffee and cake; it wasn't. Ms. Nahles, the SPD-Heroine, would have given Bätschi or another bullshit by itself in its inimitable way. The hotel has no own café and the restaurant opens after the very friendly lady at the reception only for large groups; a large group we were not best. At the Maison au lac we did not want to run because too far, and so we landed next to the hotel in the already known Hochwald brewhouse . Ambiance: brewhouse remains brewhouse, no matter where: plenty of wood, copper brewing boilers, rustic tables and rustic seats, no noise insulation speaks, if it is full, it is also loud. Cosy flair, as should be read here at GG, can prevail on weekdays; on days like today, big days for the staff are simply too loud and therefore not really cozy. Spells on the walls like: I am satisfied with a high forest in my hand. I am sure that the outside temperatures that prevail today have not been paid and hopefully the poet has not been paid; the verse is so. When assessing the ambience, I now imagine the brewhouse quietly or that I would have sat in the beer garden with magnificent views over the lake and not in the sound level: four stars. Cleanliness: When a table is left by guests, new guests are forced to leave at least days as today in seconds; Nevertheless, it is on the tables as it is directly deleted, clean and even under the tables there is nothing around. Also the heavily frequented wet rooms (you know from your own experience like beer) are clean. This is too praised and I therefore forgive four stars. We have experienced that something can happen in the hustle and bustle: a very friendly young lady in blond who was responsible for our table took the drink order first of all, as my wife had not yet decided. My drink brought another lady. A male serviceman came to us shortly after, accepted my wife's beverage order and our food order. Another man brought my wife's drink. Then our blonde pink gel came back with us and cultivated his modern belly to speak his smartphone in the intention to now accept our food order. I told her that a colleague had already included everything in this regard; they read the safety we had ordered. Me too. Later at dinner we noticed that we had a previously completely unknown service with plates on which the same food we had already before us was crossed at the table. He crashed something and said: As I see, you already have. To pay, the blonde noise gold angel was back with us; my wife said in advance to pay, I should definitely check for proof that we are charged twice. They didn't. Thus, five people were in service for our well-being, almost like in the star restaurant, only that it is more coordinated and more accurate. I have my donated day today and forgive four stars for service. You are in Brauhaus, Braumeister Stefan Hahn brews a high forest Hell, a Donatus Dark and a seasonal beer (e.g. wheat); for EUR 2,70 (0,3l) and EUR 3,85 (0.5l). I chose 0.5l high forests of hell; really very pleasant. A natural beer with 11.4% stem wort and 4.8% alcohol is used exclusively for barley malt and for dark donatus, while wheat (the name says yes) is used for wheat and barley malt. The high forest is wild, so there are many wild game, especially wild game, on the menus around, e.g. in autumn wild weeks, with a total of eight to twelve gastro companies in the region offers various wild shells (red game, deer, black game; rarely also field rabbits, fasan or rebhuhn). My wife chose wildsalami from domestic hunting, abundantly garnished, with peasant bread (EUR 9,90), I chose Hirschburgeraus Hausjagd, garnished with Pommes Frites, abundant for EUR 12,50. The salami was very good, the dark peasant bread also and the shrimps as promised abundant. The part was so big that my wife (we had already eaten at home) made a doggy bag with salami and peasant bread. My Hirschburger was delicious. I also liked that he was not cooked, but medium with an inclination too rare; I love Burger. The Bun's lid was painted with the same beer can and the burger was painted on three thick tomato slices which I quickly removed before the burger was consumed, and a cucumber salad bed and the frying floor. I ate the cucumbers, I'm half the salad. Overall we were very satisfied and I liked to spend three and a half stars for food and drink. Price/performance ratio: for us o.k., three and a half stars. Conclusion: We come back on a normal weekday."
