"Luke mangan's name is on it so it should be good! Unfortunately it was not... firstly the staff seemed surprised that we were even there! I had a reservation but they were apparently unaware of it. It was a lunch booking, the place was cold and empty with a bar that did not serve drinks!?? And an online menu that did not apply!!! We looked at the online menu that advertised share plates - we love that! It's why we came!! And were looking forward to popcorn shrimp, salt and pepper squid and sticky wings etc with a few cocktails. We got there and we're told the menu on The weekend was Brunch, very limited!! Eggs, eggs or eggs a few other things too but not what we were expecting!! And not what was advertised!!? So - the other things consisted of several burgers, a pappardelle ragu a fish of the day and a spatchcock. We had those, and they were good, we also had a glass of champagne/beer and a bottle of wine. For 4 it was $260, expensive for what it was! I had the pappardelle which was good flavour, but the ragu as not shredded, there were big chunks of beef...the staff were disinterested, did not even greet us at the door although there is a sign to "wait until seated" we sat in an empty room, they seemed very inconvenienced that we were there, and when we questioned them on the menu that we had seen online they simply said "you're not the first to say this...!" Misrepresentation and Irritation are not what you want to feel when you are going out for lunch! Suffice to say I am not impressed!.. could have been great...wish these celeb chefs would do what people actually want...a lot of people like a long lunch!!!"
