"We were hungry and did not want to wait at another restaurant and decided to pop in here. The service was not the best, just inexperienced, but the food was good. We ordered from their specialty sheet and started with sweet corn soup which was semi thick which tasted fine. We then had the mutton biriyani and chicken curry. This is southern cuisine so the flavors are different from a typical Indian restaurant and a nice taste variation. Just a small casual eatery with locals eating there which is a good sign."

"It's a small restaurant and easy to get missed out on Granville Street. Their food are always great (esp their butter chicken and naan bread). Highly recommended."

"Silk Dinner Lounge is a beautiful place. The service wasn't quite there yet several times they took away drinks that weren't quite finished, and they also don't have a wine list and had only one bottle of red wine. It was fairly empty other than our party of 8. The food was good but not spectacular. They did let us bring in our own cake to celebrate a birthday, which we really appreciated. Also appreciated that we could make a reservation since most places don't allow that. I think they just need a bit more time to work on the smooth service aspect, but it was a nice place to hang out for an evening."

"We enjoyed our food and the service was attentive and pleasant. The Samosa plate was delicious and a generous serving for an appetizer. The Shahi Paneer was as good as we have had. The Vegetable Biryani was the weakest dish of the meal, but still pretty good. A shirmp Biryani option would have been nice. We enjoyed our food and will certainly get dinner from them again."

"Very Vegan friendly and one of the rare Indian restaurants to have vegan naans. We were a party of 10 and were well taken care of. Food was delicious and we all over ate for the same reason. We'll certainly be back whenever in the area. We had: Vegan Dal Makhni, Vegan Okra, Vegan Butter Chikun and Vegan Garlic Naans. All items were a 10/10 for me."
