"We’ve been going here since we moved to East Dulwich over 20 years ago. Although we moved slightly further out about 10 years ago, Dulwich Tandoori still pulls us back because of the consistently good food and, above all, because of the warm welcome and great service. Can’t be beaten."

"To get to kingston, my friend and I have taken a bite to eat a wellington, especially because of its favorable location over the road from the waterloo station. the pub is named after the duke of wellington and the interieur pays hommage like a museum with paintings and art throughout. there are numerous tables available throughout and they need to find a table first, so they can give the bartender their table number if they place their food order I ordered what turned out to be the most messy of burgers who fell apart (definitly not something they want to eat when they are on a date, lol). the chips were hot, but needed a bit of salt for the aroma I would recommend the...more"

"We were out for a few drinks in highgate and looking to go for a curry. Seen decent reviews for here and as it was nearby decided to try. As it was on the meercat meals 2for1 we thought that a bonus. When we arrived there were 4 people in the restaurant who left shortly afterwards. When ordering we were told we could only order traditional dishes if using meercat. Not good as we both had chosen other dishes. Doesn't make sense as the dishes were all similar prices anyway. It basically rules out 80% of the menu. It defeats the purpose of offering discounts to get people in then having unsatisfied customers as they won't return. We've tried loads of places on the meercat and when it's good we return and some of them we visit regularly as we eat out 4/5 nights a week. Needless to say we won't be returning. Pity as the food was ok even if it was lacking in atmosphere and they were rushing us bringing out mains when we hadn't even finished our poppadoms. Think they were looking to close early as it was dead."

"This is a new-ish curry house that was taken over by the mehak. it is worth visiting, as both eating and personal are hard to impress. more and more Indian restruanten go for the super-Blande and brown gravy angle than when they buy their food wholesale from 'iceland' this eat tastes authentic and in-house but on the 3 insass I was, they have managed to repeat the meal (I know boring! on the same standard over and over again. I recommend it."
