"This used to be our go to spot, we’ve come for thanksgiving, happy hours, and many brunches. We were so sad when it was closed and as we went to dinner the other night we noticed it was open once again, cancelled that evenings dinner plans(sorry Tosca! , and went back to DBGB for the first time in years.Before I begin, the service was wonderful, our waiter was great. Our appetizer, the tartare, was delicious but the main course was not remotely up to the standards we thought it had prior to closure. We were told the portions were ‘French’, which sure that’s fine but my steak frites was 80% fries and the steak was incorrectly cooked, it lacked flavor so it wasn’t worth the effort to send back to reheat. The steak was between a 4-5oz serving. My husbands meal the lamb, was delicious, albeit small for the amount we paid; I do feel like the prices have jumped as well during the time away. The best item on the table was the side order of brussel sprouts.Sadly we regretted cancelling our other reservation and may not be back for a good while. We might try brunch but quality hasn’t been kept up with the price."

"The servers seemed to be short staffed so service was slow for drinks, placing orders and cashing out. The kitchen seemed on time and the food was ok. Nothing amazing and fantastic, especially considering this price point, but not horrible. We waited for several minutes at the door before anyone greeted us which was odd since we had reservations, it was a Friday night, and we were on time. The restaurant seemed empty at 6:15 on this holiday Friday night which made us worry a bit. We had the special, a filet topped with crab meat, and the scallops. The servers were working quickly, but no one was helping them out, no bus boys, no expediter, not even the hostess. The place was cute, but we were so disappointed with the service provided and expected more for this level of dining. At one point while our server was taking our order, the manager came over and interrupted her in the middle of her conversation with us, which was very odd as he was not delivering food or drinks to anyone and could have possibly waited a few more seconds for us to finish hearing the specials and place our order."

"The seafood mixed vegetables and the salmon in coconut was okay but the Pad Thai was not good at all! The pad Thai has too much orange flavor, too strong for our taste! I’ve tasted much better pad Thai somewhere else! Probably one of the worst Pad Thai we’ve ever tasted! But the desserts are awesome!!! Service was too slow."

"I had the papaya salad with prawns. The prawns were grilled and had a hint of smokiness. Delicious! The papaya was fresh and sweet and was tossed in the salad with a perfect hint of mint."
