"This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. She said this is where locals go to eat seafood any place else you’ll get overcharged and all the food is good. She was right! It is not fancy just a local dinner with booths and paper mats with ads on the table. But I had the lobster dinner and it was excellent! And it was about half the cost of what I’d pay in the states. It came with the clam chowder which my husband and I both thought was very good. He had the chicken brochette with lemon potatoes (yum) and loved it. If you’re looking for good food, this is it. If you’re looking for fancy, go someplace else."

"We had takeout on their last day of service, as they're switching to pop ups until sometime in the fall 2022. The meal was absolutely top shelf, we asked for takeout due to covid defence and no issues the meal was top rate and the flavours came through amazingly. Not a substitution for dining in of course but it's amazing what they were able to do. Good luck on the new enterprise!"

"The seafood chowder was as advertised. It was good and no fillers potato chunks. Came with Guinness bread which hit the mark and could easily have eaten more. Portion was enough for my husband and I. We also ordered dirty martini and the gold rush for cocktails. The latter with the lemon dash was refreshing. Fish and chips, I've had better ones. The Rugby world championship was playing on all TVs so it got packed come game time which added to the pub atmosphere."
