"Walked in. It smelled weird/odd. Mainly like it needed to be cleaned better. Lots of dirty tables. Ordered at counter. Girl was training. Guy was training her. It was ok service. Not horrible, but not remarkable. It always bothers me that restaurants ask for a tip, before you experience the food or service. Not to mention the fact that at a place like this, what am I tipping for? I walked up and order. I pay. I make my own coffee. I try to find a clean table (not an easy feat . Literally all they do is bring me my food. I appreciate that, but what am I tipping for? So, service was ok/mediocre, cleanliness is subpar, environment is so-so. Food, was really good. It hit the spot, regardless of the above. Biscuits/gravy have a nice spice to them. Temp could 've been hotter. Biscuit was legit. Eggs, bacon, smash brown was great. Coffee, good...please provide Stevia. All in all, a 3 outta 5. You could get a 5 if you fix the above. Remember that the handshake of the host affects the taste of the roast. (Ben Franklin?
