"The Marigold has been one of our favourite restaurants. The food was always magnificent as was the service. However this has clearly all changed. What a horrible experience. Yesterday 23rd May 2021 we decided to have Yum Cha at the Marigold. Big mistake. After queueing for almost an hour we finally got a table to only be completely and utterly ignored. No one was interested in serving us as all the waitstaff was fawning over one table and not interested in anyone else. When I tried to get attention from the waitstaff they simply refused to call management and continued to ignore us. Furthermore the few items of food we managed to secure was rancid. Granted we should have looked at the latest reviews and saved ourselves from this horrible experience. We will NEVER be going back there and I strongly recommend others to give this place a very wide berth."

"Overall a decent dim sum restaurant with tons of good options. Polite efficient staff. • the stuffed eggplant with shrimp is perfection. Large juicy eggplant marinated in sweet savory sauce with pan fried prawn inside. A combination • stuffed crab claw is a wonderful medley of crispy perfectly fried thin breading and juicy crab and shrimp filling • siew mai is okay, big and juicy but there were some unchewable fat parts, nothing big though • I wouldn't recommend the scallop rice roll, though the rice roll is thick and mochi like, there's too much rice and too little scallop • the lotus leaf rice (lor mai kai) is white yummy with decent rice to meat ratio • the sweet tofu gives you unlimited syrup! The tofu itself is soft and aromatic. • I want to try their pan fried shrimp cake next time. • would not recommend hot oil wanton • love the sticky rice shrimp"
