"High-level chain. the location in coronado offers a fantastic view of the sea – although when they go to dinner, it is all dark out anyway and they don't get much of a look. eating was not impressive. I shared the rocky fish filled with crab meat and crawling linguine with a friend and also not a dish was especially unforgettable. also expensive. expect them about $25-30 per person."

"My daughter and I really like the food in all Il Foraio restaurants that we have tried (Coronado, Santa Monica and Del Mar), but we have found the settings and service of the restaurant staff at the Del Mar site to be unpleasant. The employees we treated were pretentious, unpleasant and inefficient. We waited for the service until the last time we had eaten there, that we almost gave up and left. Our water and tea glasses were never filled again, and our salad plates were sitting on the table during the duck, although we asked to remove them. My daughter loves the French toast served on Sunday brunch, but if not for the Pasta Putanesca, and that there is a long drive to another Il Fornaio site, I wouldn't return."
