"We had a nice time at our first visit to la bonne soupe. it was a busy pre-theatre time and the staff was somewhat stressed, but remained pleasant. for me, the Entree selections were limited – fat meat dishes or sandwiches were the most important choices. I finished the addition of salmon to a Caesar salad – a little boring. the salmon was nicely boiled, the salad was drowned in the dressing and had to be cut with knife and fork. on the positive side were the oysters, mush and ducks, enjoyed by others, good choices. the prices are competitive for the neighbourhood."
