"We had booked a table for two but strangely, we were the only diners. However, as we walked in the neighbourhood before/after eating at Le O Zen, all the other restaurants were equally empty. So I do not believe the absence of other diners is a reflection of the restaurant itself, more the time of year.The host was conviviality in a nutshell and added to the evening.The amuse-bouche offering were delightful and frankly, it could have served as a starter. My salad gourmonde was superb as was my wife's oeuf en cocottte. She is a veggie, its France, so her choices were limited but it was still an excellent choice on the menu de jour she had.I opted for the entrecote which was again, very good. It came with mashed potatoes when maybe, fries would have been better. But I wouldn't moan if I ordered it again. The wife's dover sole, with a Noilly Prat sauce. Again, superb.We shared the dessert, a basque gateau which was about right. An excellent bottle of wine, chateau cobiere as I recall. Went really well with my choice and surprisingly so with the wife's choice. Two coffees and we had change out of 75e. Excellent meal in what felt our own private dining room. Based on our experience, definitely worth a visit."
