"Before I write this review, I have to say I have known and loved the Roche de Vic for over twenty years, I live within 5 kms and have shied away from doing any sort of review, because it could be that you will think I am bias, but having just celebrated my wife's birthday there with our eldest grandson and his lady, I felt I had to.I really think this hotel/restaurant is unbeatable in the this area of France, it's not the cheapest and is certainly not the dearest, but their attention to presentation of the bedrooms, the restaurant, and the food is par excellence, and they have a good cellar to boot. So the next time you are in this area of France - La Correze - do visit you will not regret it."

"Au détour d'une petite promenade un lundi entre Brantôme et Périgueux sur le coup des midi je suis passé dans le bourg du Bussac. De mémoire je savais qu'il y avais un petit restaurant de campagne et d'habitué.Nous avons était bluffé par le menu et son prix ainsi que par la qualités des produits maison et de la cuisinière qui est également traiteur.Devanture qui ne paye pas de mine mais mais bien mangé...!Soupière de soupe maison (poireaux/courgette), entrée choux chinois dés de jambon vinaigrette, palette de porc à la diable et petit légumes, dessert : Crémeux brûler maison, assortiment de fromage, vin et café compris pour 13 euros!N'hésitez pas à vous y arrêter, un seul menu unique chaque jour, copieux, convivial et la patronne d'une sincère gentillesse."
